Profile

Eitan Paul is Research Manager at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT. Her research mainly examines the impact of social accountability initiatives and policy reforms on the quality of political representation and distribution of public goods in Southeast Asia. Eitan focuses particularly on gender and local political participation and mainly uses experimental methods (field experiments and survey experiments). His current research projects are in Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.
