Profile

Dani Muhtada is research fellow
at Populi Center with cutting-edge research interests on Islam and State, politics
Islamic law, Islam and democracy, and civil rights of the people. Everyday
He works as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Semarang State University.
He completed his doctoral education at Northern Illinois University with
Fulbright scholarship. His dissertation examines the spread of regional regulations.
Sharia in Indonesia from the perspective of policy diffusion and legal politics.
