Ten Valuable Lessons After the COVID-19 Pandemic One approach after another is used to understand how the pandemic affects the way of life of humans. Opposition to the domination of scientists in the science-based health sector continues to collide with economists to produce policies that do not have the effect of further spreading the virus, without also shutting down the heartbeat of the people's economy. The government continues to revise its policies for handling COVID-19 in order to adapt to findings in the field. The balance point continues to be sought between science-based and economic policies.

From 1945 to early 1998 Jakarta was essentially a manifestation of Sukarno's and Suharto's vision and ideology. Sukarno made Jakarta a kind of declaration about the decolonization of a new nation-state that deserved respect in the world arena. But internally, he also wants Jakarta to become a symbol of the struggle and national unity for independence. Sukarno did not want the Indonesian nation to be out of date in the international arena but at the same time wanted it to have a unique identity of its own. Jakarta in his eyes should be a beacon for other cities in Indonesia, as well as a beacon for human civilization.

The East Indonesian region has historically been the center of world attention from the 17th century until approximately the end of the 18th century. Sandalwood, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and mace or mace became very expensive commodities on the international market in Europe at that time. But since the Dutch chose Java Island as their political and economic center, this area has been a region that has continued to experience political and economic marginalization until the early decades of the 21st century.
